Had a power lunch at Antico Ristorante in NYC, and it was pretty solid. I ordered the eggplant parm, and let me tell you--it was great. Crispy, cheesy, and perfectly saucy, like the kind of dish that makes you reconsider your relationship with meat. The food overall was very decent--nothing revolutionary, but definitely satisfying. The ambience was cozy, like a warm hug from an old friend who also happens to serve pasta. Lost a star only because I didn't walk out feeling like a corporate tycoon after lunch, but hey, at least the eggplant was on point!

A classic upscale Italian restaurant with bottles of wine at the table settings to set the stage for an intimate and elegant dining experience. The food was slightly pricey but really worth the money. The calamari was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection served with a mildly sweet marinara sauce. The carpaccio was presented so well you almost don't want to eat it. The vogole was seasoned with olive oil and garlic and not too over powering. The most surprising part to me was the espresso martini. Hands down the best one I have had. Made with strong, delicious real espresso, and not too sweet. Presented with a thick froth and 3 coffee beans. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating. We sat there for 3 hours eating, talking, and laughing and they allowed us to enjoy the experience without any pressure to speed us through our courses.

I have t been back in NYC since November of last year but remembered that my group enjoyed a nice dinner at Antica. I took my sister in law here last night before a private event and we enjoyed an amazing dinner. My Gnnochi was dynamite and her Baked clam appetizer was off the hook. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and of course, the food. I can't wait to go back the next time I'm back in NYC.

Restaurant is part of the Doubletree hotel. Loved I was able to use my food and beverage credit each night I stayed. Stopped in on the first night and I came in right before it got busy around 6:30ish. My server was very sweet, although I was sitting at the bar he was very attentive. Even when I had an issue with my credit and the date, he offered to call upstairs to fix the issue. Food was pretty good too.

Traditional Italian restaurant located in FiDi with great food and no-nonsense service. We started with the fried calamari and baked clams - both solid. For entrees we had the Linguine Vongole, Spaghetti Carbonara and Veal Parmigiana. Both pastas were nicely prepared and the veal was impressive. Worth a visit for a good Italian meal.
